    So
    last night my sister went to start her xbox up to play COD but when we turned it on it had a E101 or E102 error code. We’ve tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. Do any of you know how to fix this without factory reseting it? Also there were no updates
    going on prior to the startup.

    We have tried a hard reset and we cannot get into the settings we are stuck on that screen.

    Hi there, The first step to problem solving your issue is to perform a power cycler on you Xbox One.

    To perform a Hard Reset you Hold your power button on your Xbox for 8 to 10 seconds or until it turns off. Once the Xbox is off unplug your power pack from the Xbox so it has no power running into it. Leave the power pack unplugged for 5 to 10 minutes and then
    plug it back in and start up your Xbox.

    Or you could try and clear your cache.

    To to this go to Settings, Network, Network Settings, Advance Settings then Click Alternate MAC Address then click Clear.

    Oh no thats not good! Not to worry, We'll get you back to gaming! This screen is the console stating that there is a problem preventing the console from booting up. At this point lets first try a soft reset of the console. Take a look at this support article:
    Troubleshoot Startup issues. From the something went wrong screen, Select troubleshooting and click reset this xbox, then select Keep Games and Apps. Let me know if this works for you!

    Well it was about to prepare update screen and in a split second went back to “Something went wrong” and I press continue. It show restart, reset, turn off and xbox offline update option menu screen. I press “xbox offline update”(usb is connect to Xbox
    one) start update but went back something went wrong
