Xbox keeps ejecting game

My Xbox One has been ejecting my disc without prompts. It has been doing this since I've started the program a few months ago. It would spit out my Master Chief Collection, but thankfully I bought Halo 5 digitally(although I have many other physical copies
of other games).

While I play Halo 5, I can hear the Xbox do the Eject sound, like if you would press Eject and nothing comes out. Doesn't fai,l at least 5 times a minute. If I would have a disc in there, I'm sure it would spit it out. Remember: no prompts whatsoever, there
is a malfunction. I've heard from some friends that it has happend to them as well.

I would love love some kind of response. Thank you in advance!

Hey mate,

Have you tried to give your console a hard boot to see if that helps? You can do this by having the console on, then holding down the power button on the front of the console for 10seconds until the console switches off. Leave it for a minute or two, then
turn it back on and see how it goes. Also make sure there is nothing stuck on the eject button

I have 2 xbox1's in my home. My sons xbox was bought about 4 months sooner than mine. His started doing this about 4 months ago...literally. we sent it in. It stopped temporarily. I thought bc it was the kids...maybe they had bumped it or something, but.....

Now, mine is doing it. I don't let anyone touch mine. You see we don't have cable...just Hulu and Netflix. ..so I have to keep mine super safe. Not to mention, I rarely even play games, but have all sorts. I guess I'm an Xbox game hoarder...

My point is...I just feel it's too expensive to let kids do whatever, but my son got one for his bday.

This is obviously not from wear and tear. It's definitely a glitch. 2 of them...same household. One used alot, and one not.

Xbox needs to fix it...and refund my 175 for sending my sons in 1st time.

Try this on it:

1. Turn off your Xbox completely by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Unplug it from the wall, wait for 1 minute, and plug it back.

2. Press and hold the Sync and Eject buttons.

3. Press the power button, and keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons together.

4. Keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons, until the troubleshooting menu appears.

5. Select the option "restore this xbox" and choose keep my games and apps.

I found a solution for my problem.

1. Uninstall the game

2. Eject disc

3. Use the Xbox app on a computer or phone to connect to ypu Xbox and install the game (keep disc ejected)

4. Let the download finish and then you can insert the disc and play the game.

try unplugging the power cord 5 minutes...

Then press and hold the Bind (the button on the left of the console to link the controller) and the Eject button at the same time.

While holding together the BIND and EJECT button, press the power button and keep holding the BIND and EJECT.

Your xbox should turn on a special menu. If its working, try resetting while keeping your game on the HD, if its not working bad luck....
