    Xbox keeps crashing to the dashboard even after hard reset and factory default.


    Originally happened when I was playing fallout 4. Since then all games disc and download will work for a minute or two, basically get to the main menu screen or beginning cinema than kick me back to the dashboard. I've done numerous hard resets holding the
    power button down and unplugging everything, I reset my box to factory default, I've signed out and tried playing offline and it still does it. My xbox is not even 6 mo old. So frustrated. The weird thing was when I factory reset it, my fallout saves were
    still there and even when I deleted the game storage, it's still there, so maybe it's a cloud thing. I don't know.

    Taking my console off of the xbox preview program?

    HKUNIT 001, they sent you to preview forums. Different team.

    You can find preview forums and post your problem here, if you have access ->
    forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

    If you do not have access to that forum, it means you actually may not be part of preview program. Also, if you are part of preview program, please go to apps search and try to find app "Xbox Preview Dashboard". Once you found it, installed and started,
    you can remove yourself from preview program.

    Also, if your Xbox One keeps crashing and etc.. You may consider to reset your console to factory defaults.

    After a hard reset to factory defaults, the TV is recognised as 4K and HDR compatible (this is new). Now, games can switch from 1080p to 4K. However, the Xbox dashboard is unable to work at 4K.

    Okay, I just factory reset the console and reinstalled Riders Republic since that is one of the games that keeps crashing the most. Upon playing for around 10 minutes again it crashed again even after the factory reset.

    Thanks for keeping us updated. Were you able to try the hard reset and power cycle of your Xbox One?

    If that doesn't help then I recommend trying a soft factory reset. Only try this if you have your account login information readily available as you will need to re-add your account to your Xbox during the set up after the reset. Make sure to select keep
    my games and apps.
