    Xbox Just randomly Reset itself.


    Just had the most random encounter so far. My Xbox just master reset itself but it’s retained all my games but had to go through all the process of setting up a new console. Literally, I was just playing moving out 10 minutes ago unplugged the console brought it upstairs plugged it into the upstairs and it masted factory reset itself automatically.

    Hey there Wwajuu! I understand you are having some issues with unintentional console restarts. Does this seem to happen randomly, or when you are doing specific tasks? Will this happen if you simply leave the console at the dashboard and wait?

    First, let's make sure that the power button on the console isn't being activated accidentally. Can you clean off the button with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any dust or oil that has built up there. If that does not help, try turning the console off and
    removing all cables from the back of the console. Let it sit for a few minutes, and then reconnect.

    there isn’t an active box. there are disable, allow, or deny boxes though. my xbox was connected to the internet fine then the xbox randomly turned itself off and it won’t connect. i’ve reset the wifi and everything.
