    Xbox just goes to black screen


    I have an xbox1x and i just did an update 2 days ago. im in the early access program so im sure that is the issue. Ive hard reset my console and when i do it does the 4k start up thing and then it just goes to a black screen. If i hit the home button
    the screen lightens up a little bit but it still is a plain black screen. If i hold down the home button the menu pops up to turn off, turn off controller, and the report a problem. it wont let me select the report a problem but it will let me turn it off.
    Hoping a patch will come out but would like to know if anybody else is experiencing this issue?

    Black screen on Power Up

    When I turn on my Xbox, instead of going to the home screen it just goes to a black screen with the Xbox logo in the upper right hand corner. I can power off with the controller and hard reset but it only goes to the black screen. Any suggestions?

    YouTube App broken. Tried everything!

    Yes its the Xbox One App, sorry for late reply. It just goes full screen, then goes black, and backs me out to the dashboard

    Nah, I'm having this problem on multiple tv's. The only difference is that on MY tv the screen goes black every once in a while and has glitchy lines going across the screen randomly, on the living room tv the screen just never goes to the xbox menu or anything, it just says no signal and nothing happens and on my kitchen tv there are no glitchy lines but the screen goes black like every other second...

    Latest update seems to have renedered my console useless. Any suggestions.

    This exact problem happened to me. I just updated and boom just black screen instead of home screen. I click report a problem and it goes to open the app then black screen. I put in a disk and loads up the game screen and then black screen.
