    Xbox isn’t responding correctly


    Hello. So recently I took my Xbox to a different house and it worked perfectly fine. It’s now back at where I live and every time I click the Xbox button to go to settings or scroll through the tabs in general, it instantly quits back to the home page.
    The internet isn’t set up so I can’t report a problem. I’ve already reset it and nothing is working. This has never happened before. Not sure if this matters but its the original black xbox one. Thanks

    Thanks for the help. Unfortunately that didnt work but I figured it out. To hook to the wifi I clicked the “connect to xbox live” on the homer page and prayed it would take me to my wifi settings. It did and once I typed in my wifi it worked. Its weird because
    I’ve never seen and xbox do that

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. I understand this issue can be frustrating, so I’ll do my best to help.

    If your console is slow or unresponsive in any way, it’s best to clear the cache as this is most likely the cause of this. Here is a guide on how to do this:

    If this doesn’t help or if you have already tried this, I’m not sure what else to suggest. Maybe check for a console update? Install/apply update if one is available, there’s been quite a few major changes recently.

    If you still experience any issues, you may need to request a service repair for your console.
