Xbox isn’t displaying

I was in the middle of a game and the video on my Xbox froze and I couldn’t play. The audio still worked as I could hear things going on around me but I couldn’t do anything to my screen. I quit the game and went to the home menu but when I tried to play another game it completely froze my Xbox. I decided that turning it off and on would work but when I did it refused to display on my TV. I unplugged and plugged it back in but that still didn’t work. I plugged it in to my monitor and that didn’t work. I tried a different HDMI cable on both my TV and monitor and that still wouldn’t work. Finally I tried to view the problem from the Xbox app by remote playing and it didn’t load in the app. When I checked the trouble shooting site I did as it asked and that didn’t work either. I don’t want to send it in for repairs as they might take a long time but I can’t make it work. Is there anything I can do?

Oh, right after you press and hold the sync and eject, just press the power button right away but in case the issue still persist, I'm afraid the console really needs a service.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Once you see it, Please select reset then keep games and apps. No worries, no games will be removed, just sign back in using the right account.

Thank you for the reply but after trying it multiple times it still isn’t working. I followed your steps and unplugged it then plugged it back in. Then I held both the eject button and the sync button but after holding them for over a minute nothing happened. It would make a sound when I pressed the eject button but nothing after that. Is there something else I could try or should I just take it in to get repaired?

I’m having the exact problem. On a wired gigabit connection, I still feel like my Series X isn’t getting the display information fast enough and I feel what isn’t actually happening in my controller. This is extremely apparent when playing NBA 2K23 online.

I’ve got an Xbox game pass ultimate subscription for three months however the display “sorry this purchase experience isn’t supported” while playing on cloud play keeps appearing whenever I try and actually do a flight.
