    I've been experiencing this exact error for several months. The March update DID seem to make it worse. We had another thread about it, but it seems like they locked it.

    Here is a list of common suggestions that I've tried, all of which did NOT affect my situation-

    -Make sure your console is plugged into a wall outlet, not a power strip

    -Clear the blu ray app cache

    -Power cycle the console

    -Disconnect all cords and let it sit for 10 minutes, and then set it all up and reboot

    -Delete your profile off the console, sign back in etc.

    Anyways, all of those made no difference for me, but maybe they'll help other users?

    And of course they always suggest switching to power saver mode, which sort of puts a curtain over the error by removing the functionality that causes it to occur... not exactly what I call a solution.

    I've also had people suggest that it has something to do with my internet set up. One fella claimed he fixed the issue by replacing his router, but that seems sorta iffy, and I don't want to spend the money on a new router unless I'm sure.

  3. Its not your router Mike. Matter of fact I wouldn't change any of your equipment unless you just itching for some new toys. This issue that we have been discussing for quite awhile in the preview sections is well documented. I can assure you the Devs are
    fully aware of this and hopefully soon this will be resolved. All the best.

    Since the Feb. update my One has pretty much been worthless. Sometimes I can get BF running, but most of the time not. I can't install games, have frequent trouble reading discs, and get constant freezes/crashes. This is ridiculous. Are others have ALL these
    problems together concurrently? Was hoping it was just a software problem and we would get an update fix, but it hasn't come. Should I try sending in my console, or just continue to wait with fingers crossed? I'll tell you one thing, my PC and PS4 are getting
    a lot more use lately, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I've been a proud Xbox owner since the original system, but my opinion is quickly souring.

    Saying switch to Power Saving mode is ridiculous, that's not a fix at all. One of the great things about the One is Instant On, when it's working.

    My main gripe in all of this, is why did it take me getting a random invite and getting on the Preview Program to find out the devs are not only aware but actively trying to fix the problem? I've been complaining on here since around December about it and
    it's only this week I've actually found out what's going on since getting in the Preview Program.

    Why all the secrecy? There's nothing worse than having a problem, that loads of other people are also having and seemingly being completely ignored. Why not a sticky, saying something like "We are aware of the issue, it's being worked on" that would cut
    down a whole lot of peoples frustrations.

    Hey Gooner1, that's awesome news, thanks for sharing! It is a relief to know that they are actively investigating the problem. I totally agree, that's all I need to be satisfied, knowledge that it is a known issue and is being investigated. When support
    suggests a bunch of worthless actions (clear the MAC cache, and switch it off for 5 mins, seriously?!) it really doesn't give me hope that they know about the problem and are working towards a solution.

    It is clearly a software issue and I just want acknowledgment.

    The March update also definitely didn't fix it for me.

    tr1ckyf1sh, your problems sound a lot more extreme and indicative of a different problem. The issue we're having is just the non-responsiveness of the console after a couple of days, but after a power cycle it is totally fine. If we use Energy Save power
    mode then the problem doesn't happen at all. I would contact support about your issue.

    Yeah Trigger, I am going to see how Hardline goes this week. If I still have problems I'm going to give Support a call. Luckily I have Arma 3 to play now, but I feel bad for the people who have or can only afford one gaming platform and are having these
    problems with little to no acknowledgment. Fingers crossed.

    Instant-On just started messing up late last week. System is on but black screen is what you get. Only way to get out of it is by holding the power button to shut it down. Does it every time all of a sudden.

    Finally I know what my issue has been since November! I really hope this is actually being worked on because Instant On is honestly one of the best features of the console when working properly. Months of having to wait 2-5 minutes for anything to respond,
    external HDD not being read, and constantly doing hard resets was nearly pushing me to chucking my XB1 right into my wall. At least there's a work around for now, but this better get fixed soon.

    I think the only way Xbox/Microsoft are going to listen to us, if we start a class action suite against them.

    This issue is totally reproduceable and Xbox support do end up escalating the issue, but no-one will ever call you back on it.

    Here is how you duplicate the issue.

    1) Make sure you Hard reset the Console. You can also switch it to energy saving mode as well, just make sure you reset or turn the Xbox off and on after switching it. Then switch it back to instant on.

    2) Either via voice or controller turn the Xbox off

    3) Turn the Xbox on

    4) Repeat

    Now I did this and here is what happens, either one of these will happen in no particular order. But yo must repeat the steps above to eventually get it to fail 100%.

    1) Xbox dashboard will say in top corner you're signed in, but your friends will not appear on dashboard. Using the RT+LT+Y will refresh and you have your freinds back.

    2) The dashboard will not sign you in, nothing in top left of screen and you will get a message eventually saying sorry (insert name here) and try to sign in with controller.

    3) Same as step 2, but you will also get a message with an error code which I dont have handy at the moment, but when you google this error code or use the xbox site to look it up, there is no know information on this.

    The thing to remember here, is that it will happen. Why Microsoft/Xbox can't acknowledge that they *** something up is beyond me and I feel the only way we can get them to take notice now is to start a class action against them.

    Also been having this problem for a month or so, im quite glad i found this thread as i was thinking my box was defective and couldnt be bothered to go through the replacement process again. Cant imagine turning off Instant-On after having it enabled since
    i got it, so ill suck it up for now and await an update.
