Xbox is really really laggy. But the internet is amazing. I don't get it.

My speed test on xbox settings is, 49.85 down. 20.51 up. 0% packet loss. 1480 MTU. 150Ms latency 87% wireless strength, but when I play a game I lag everywhere.

We recently installed a new Smart TV and since we did that this has been happening. On my speed test on my computer i Get 101 Down. 20.56 Up. 6 Ping. I don't get it. It's so annoying.

my xbox live slows down and lags when family is on the other computer while using internet?

playing on online becomes really laggy when someone is on the internet on the other Computer becouse I got two computer's one is my main pc and the other is my auntie computer so is there anyway to fix that? so I don't have to worry about internet slowing
down and start laggy. please help me out

@ Pony Mania please let us know if the new disc made a difference because I can assure you this game should not be "constantly laggy". I hope you get it worked out because it really is an amazing game.

Wired is always better. I have 1000 mb/s download/upload and I still have close to 60 MS of latency. The latency, in my case, is largely caused by the distance between my ISP (Internet Service Provider) and the nearest Xbox Live Servers. For lower latency
try using an Ethernet cable if at all possible, It may cut your number in half. Maybe even further.

Your speed tests with your xbox and on your computer won't be the same because the speed tests on the xbox go to an Xbox server while your computer's tests go to a different server (depending on the site you're using).

The latency on your xbox's speed test doesn't necessarily mean that all of your games' connections will be at 150ms ping as multiplayer games are either played on dedicated servers or peer-to-peer connections. Games that run on dedicated servers and games
that use peer-to-peer connections will not always have the same connection strength or latency. Some servers you might have 30ms or less ping to while some peer-to-peer servers might have 100ms ping+ (or the opposite).

Now, to be sure, the 'Lag' you're talking about isn't the lag associated with LED TVs? Most new, big, LED TVs actually have a latency form when you move your controller to when it shows on your screen. That, you can not get rid of, unfortunately. The best
kind of TVs to play games on are LCD TVs because almost all of them have a 5ms latency for reaction. Look your TV up and see what it says for latency in its specs.

Hey mate, If you're certain there's nothing wrong with your net have you tried deleting your profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache 3 times. Restart the console and re-download your profile. This can sometimes clear up random drops
outs etc.

This new achievement list you guys were talking about was just confirmed recently, and didn't see any new threads claiming there is now an official list. I also searched in two different search engines and only found the old list that was definitely NOT
confirmed.

I know how to put images in Xbox signatures, and you don't. I guess that makes you stupid too, huh? KID.
