Xbox is prompting me to buy Xbox Gold Live but I’ve already purchased it

Ive been playing Fortnite for months woth no problem. I tried to log in to play yesterday and it prompted me to buy Xbox Gold Live. My subscription isnt up and it shows in my subscriptions that I have xbox Gold Live. I tried clearing my cache and removing
my profile then redownloading it but that hasnt fixed it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox Live Rewards

i'm deeming this xbox live rewards as bogus! i have been an xbox live gold member for years and it keeps prompting me to upgrade to gold...yet, how do i upgrade to gold when im already gold!

 

Renewed my gold account now Hulu will not work.

I just renewed my xbox live gold account, when i went to go watch videos on hulu it keeps prompting me to get an xbox live membership. I already have one tho, why is it saying this?

 

Its not a solution I am afraid...

I have had same problem for three days now with StarWarsBattlefront2 on Xbox1

I have SWBF2 in PC & Xbox1 formats: do you have Fortnite in multiple flavours? Is this screwing something up..?

Also, [ a month ago ] I renewed my 6months XBLiveGold subscription with a 12Months deal ( now expires start of August 2019 ) . Any similarities yet?

But what I think is the problem is the xbox live status warning saying there is a problem with purchases.

If you go https://www.xboxgamertag.com

in the Edge internet browser on your xbox

type in your GamerTag in the field provided

it may then show your status as SILVER ( mine does too now! )

Hope some of this helps. Please CC me if you get a solution that I might try too.

I looked up my gamertag as well and it does show it as silver.

However, I purchased the 12 month subscription back in April so that shouldnt be the issue. I also only play on Xbox.

Ive seen the status from Microsoft about some problems on their end but cant figure out how that would affect my gold status. My brother hasnt had a problem playing on his xbox at his house and we live in the same city. I can receive invites from him but
as soon as I accept the purchase screen comes up.

 

Have the same problem with Fortnight asking for gold signup. Have a 12 mo membership which we are only half way through.

 

i am online with xbox support now.

read a post from some months back where the fix is to chat to them and they ‘refresh your xbox live account’

i am not sure if this bypasses their OnlinePurchase issues or not

have mentioned you online to xb support guy Arens Viccolo P with a ‘BTW this guy has similar issue’

Sorry, i was playing on a pc and xbox simultaneously until 2 minutes ago.

Yes, they fixed my issue ( perhaps by presing magic ‘refresh account’ button )



Arens ( see earlier ) fixed it.

Ask them to do the same. I went away for a drink came back and could play online. Might be easier to check your status on https://xboxgamertag.com is GOLD before bothering though.

Good luck. Would like to know the outcome. Sorry I cannot give you more detail ( I was not given any and got disconnected falling back into 7th in queue for support : hence the drink i mentioned just now ) .

I took your approach and contacted support. They must have hit the magic reset button with me as well because its working now. I appreciate your help, glad you got your issue resolved as well
