    I reciced a xbox 1 x alomsg a year ago for christmas. the newest and was supposed to be top of the line. Workss great until about a momth ago. Now my xbox wont work at all the light on the xbox button will turn white but nothing will happen. Xbox is only
    showing black screen once turned on and shuts itself off after about 2 mins of being on. I tried everything that i can find on the internet so far and notbimg is working.. if anyone has any advise to get me back going it would be greatly appreciate!!

    Sounds like the retimer chip has failed, its in charge of the display i had the same problem turn on console but screen says “no signal detected” search it up on youtube theres alot of fixes you can try but ultimately if none of those fixes work it’ll
    be most likely the retimer chop has failed

    it takes to long time to turn on and once it is on it shows only a black screen, the only thing i can do is shut it down

    My friend recently had this start happening, he turned it on for the first time in a while to install Advanced Warfare and was met with a clicking noise for s few min, he turned it off and waited a few min, when he turned it back on it will show the Xbox
    boot logo and go straight to a black screen. He;s tried all every power down option and gets a black screen no matter what.

    It happened after the Crucible was played but it didn't occur until the next day. In other words this problem did not show itself until after I shut it off and turned it back on the next day. Also, it only happened once. With that said I'm guessing the
    Crucible was not the issue. I could be wrong though.
