    Xbox is lagging out causing my internet and Xbox live to disconnect


    I have never had problems with my Xbox before so this is frustrating, to say the least. I have been playing games while in a party with my friends and suddenly my Xbox starts lagging and I notice that I'm stated as connecting on the party screen. After about
    twenty seconds I disconnect from the party and online game. Another 20 seconds later and I have no online options on the home button tab. Another 20 seconds later and I'm booted off Xbox live and signed out. The only way to get it all to work again is to turn
    off the Xbox and turn it on again and we are back to normal until I try to play again. Just now while I was playing it bugged out again and when I turned it back on my controllers Xbox button wasn't working. I tried clearing the cache again (this was my third
    attempt over the past two days) and turned the Xbox back on. I then proceeded to lag out while just sitting in a party.

    I have tried clearing the cache, restarting the modem, restarting the Xbox. HELP PLEASE!!!

    Xbox 360 lagging out of certain games

    If you are only lagging out of Destiny and disconnecting from Xbox live and getting he hawk error, that means it's Destiny not your xbox or ISP, but if you are lagging out of other multiplayer online games as well it's most likely your internet connection.

    played single player for 7hrs straight with internet cord unplugged (No Problems). two days later i plugged cord back in and played connected to xbox live (experienced frequent lag). played like that for about 2hrs. then unplugged internet cord again
    from xbox and played for another 8hrs straight experiencing no lag. i also have the game installed on my system.

    i have noticed that being singed into xbox live lately has been causing additional problems when playing solo games. all my friends have said im crazy. using a xbox slim console.

    My recommendation try signing out of xbox live or disconnect the cord to see if that helps.

    Let me start by saying I'm not a part of xbox support. I'm just another gamer who is experiencing disconnection issues probably caused by microsoft. So my question is, are you having any type of random disconnection from xbox live? Or are you able to connect
    to lobbies in let's say BO2 and then play with lag or no lag?

    I am connect via cable my wireless chip no longer works or decided it doesn't want to find any networks and the internet itself doesn't disconnect I seem to lag out of online servers without lagging offline from xbox

    For the last year or two my xbox has been disconnecting every one to two hours

    Usually my NAT type is open and I still get disconnected from xbox live, however most of the time my internet is on moderate when i get disconnected, so, can a fluctuating NAT type cause a disconnection? or is there something else at work there?
