    Xbox Is In the June Insider Update even though I've never signed up for the Insider Program


    I have never signed up for the Xbox Insider Program, but my console in the Xbox June Insider Update, (2006.200609-0000). I tried to factory reset the console so that it could go back to the Public Update, When the factory reset was done, it didn't take me to the setup screen like it would always do, instead it took me to the Microsoft Store. Because of this, the Xbox is constantly freezing and crashing, and can't download/update any game above 10 GB, as the download would stop randomly. I can't access my network settings as well, as it would give me error code 0x80070490. I checked any accounts that have been on the Xbox to see if it ever signed up for it, none. I tried to do an Offline System Update, couldn't get past 57% on Step 2 (Verification).

    If you are receiving multiple updates in a week it sounds like your console is in the Xbox Insiders program.

    Can you please confirm if you are in the Insiders Program (Formerly Xbox Preview program)?
    Yep I'm in the stupid Insiders Program but I've never had three updates since being in the program and I've been in it since the 360 so this is something I've never seen before.

    I'm in the Insider program,Alpha Ring,& like I said,i've never been kicked out of a game for a console update & neither will the op if they set up their console correctly.

    Xbox Insider program     yet? Be sure to sign into the Xbox Live profile that is signed up for the Xbox Insider program over at our
