Xbox is failing and how to fix it

There's no amount of spin you (Xbox) can put on this anymore. The Nintendo Switch and the PS4 are outselling Xbox consoles by more than 2-1.

- Xbox does not share console sales

- Xbox does not share software sales

- And now, Xbox will not even share active user data.

- Your biggest release for the next YEAR AND A HALF was Gears 5, a verified flop

- 3 million unique logins, NOT sales, NOT active/engaged/playing users.

- Xbox Console sales slowing/flatlining. Gears is no longer a systems seller.

- If Xbox was doing well, they would not fear their shareholders. Notice how Nintendo and Sony have no problem sharing these metrics with their investors.

Your experiment to sell A or AA games through the Game Pass rental service disguised as "AAA exclusives", recouping production expenses through aggressive micro-transactions has failed. Hard. Gears 5 is clear cut proof of that.

Look at any comment section related to Gears 5 and count the number of people either calling it a failure or stating that its was the deciding factor to to adopt the PS5 next gen. I plan to buy a PS5
before I buy another Xbox and I've been with Xbox since the OG console. You are already losing the 9th gen and it hasn't even started yet.

Game Pass will not save you. Everyone I know/have talked to has said Gears 5 is the game that made them cancel Game Pass. The quality of the franchise has nosedived because you had to hedge your bets with this ridiculous rental service. I guess Microsoft
doesn't read the news because not only is Netflix losing subs, but they are roughly 8 BILLION in debt. IT. IS. NOT. SUSTAINABLE.

Xbox is dying, anyone with a kindergarten level of analytical/problem solving skills can look at the metrics available and see it. Want to know how to save your brand? Do you even still care?

Simple: PS4 is leading the way.

- Multiple, quality AAA exclusives every year.

- Notice that PS4 does not have to rely on a rental service or micro-transactions to boost its SALES. Its customers are more than willing to buy quality, AAA $60 single player games
in droves.

- Your exclusives need to be exclusive.

- I bought a PS4 for God of War. One game. And it was worth every penny, still is. You know why people buy PS4's and PS4 games? because its the
only place to play those games. This is one of this biggest reasons your console sales are trash.

- PS4 has truckloads of quality AAA exclusive games that sell at a full $60 and OUTSELL anything on Xbox. Considering the success of the Xbox 360 last gen, this level of failure by Microsoft is wholly unacceptable and should embarrass those in charge.

You WILL lose the 9th gen before it starts if you do not have must own games that are worth a $60 price tag. Game Pass is not sustainable for AAA releases nor is it sustainable for new, revenue generating content. The biggest player in the game, Netflix,
is so deep in debt, they WILL NEVER crawl out from under it. Game Pass should only be for 1st party games that are already 1-2 years old. Its destroying your already weak lineup of exclusives. I am cancelling my subscription btw and will encourage as many
other people as I can to do the same.

Exclusives need to be EXCLUSIVE. This is coming from someone who has an X1X, a PS4 Pro
and a Gaming PC. Your brand is dying. And I'm not convinced you want to save it and that sucks because I genuinely loved Xbox. Even The Duke.
