Xbox is connected and test is working - but says we are not connected!

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account.

Thanks. We are new to xbox and very frustrated. Is there a fix for dead wifi hardware? The connection test says wifi is working.

Go into System Settings, Then Network Settings then..If you are using a wireless connection click on the internet connection you are connected to,If you are using a wired connection click on that, When you have clicked on your connection a list appears saying:

Configure Network

Test Xbox Live Connection

Test Pc Connection

Test Windows Media Connection

Click on Test Xbox Live Connection and that should work,If it doesnt put back what it says and ill try help.

we restart the modem and then it works but after a while i loose my connection. my brothers xbox stays connected but not mine. I try and clear the internet memory cache or what ever and restart tests. But it says it connects to the internet just not xbox
live.

Thank you. None of that works. It sees my router,The connection test confirms I am connected but somehow Xbox Live Services says I am not connected to internet even though the internet connection test says I am.
