Xbox is being wierd and simply [Mod Removed - See Mod Notes]

(btw I'm not sure what #IDARB is so sorry if I posted this to the wrong thing) okay so my Xbox is being dumb and here's why, it keeps on saying on the home screen "connect to Xbox live" so I go to network settings to connect I connect to my internet and
I get signed out I try signing back in, it won't let me I disconnect from my internet I can sign back in again. Sometimes rarely my Xbox one will be signed in while I'm connected so I'm signed in and it says I'm connected on the network menu so I go back to
home screen...still says I'm not connected! I just don't get it I've tried everything I can think of and nothing fixed this. All of the other devices work with the internet but the Xbox. Does anyone know what's wrong with my Xbox one?

Force gamertag change

My gamertag was [Mod Removed]. I was a dj at KLIT FM radio in Texas. It is not [Mod Removed] and I do not see why my gamertag was changed and it looks like Im being forced to change it from the gamertag xbox assigned to
me.

decisions based on lack of evidence

that [Mod Removed: Profanity] was used because our group was bein harassed by higher level players who wouldnt leave us be. thats not simply getting killed. we ran and they followed us they made their intent known.

EDIT: OK HOW WAS THAT PROFANITY? nobody was using it in that manor whatsoever it was being used in context of the original post. and its not actually profanity unless you spell the word out typing

Sorry to hear it. First, IDARB stands for I Drew A Red Box, it's an Indie game.

Now, for your issue. Here's a few steps to try (one at a time)

1. Power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down

2. If step 1 doesn't work then delete your gamertag, power cycle and then redownload the tag

3. If all else fails then do a factory reset on the console. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you don't need to redownload them.

Now if I factory reset will my data be saved on that game? Like will everything I did on that game be saved?

Game saves are stored on both the console and the cloud. Although a reset will delete the saves on the console the cloud saves will remain and just need to resync when you start the game online.
