Xbox is being harsh!

Awesome just spent 2 hours talking with Microsoft because my controller's RB button is not registering. They will replace it if I send my controller in first and pay for the shipping both ways. The console is under warranty but not the controller. I understand
this but I am so frustrated, the people telling me on the chat that they expect the controller to fail after a year or so. That means they expect you to buy a new one every year. On top of subscriptions and content for games that they never include in the
games, they want you to buy a controller every year for 70 bucks. I wanted to write them and complain about the way they do business, I know it won't be heard but I wanted to yell at someone in the company and see if they really cared but oh wait they have
no email of which to complain to. none. I looked it up nothing but people looking for one to complain at, I chatted a rep and they did not have an email to give me either, they wanted me to post on the forums about my problem but as I went to do that I looked
up RB failing and it is a VERY common thing for xbox one controllers to do, hundreds of posts all with RB failure. The admins' resolution: pay us so we can replace that device that should have worked in the first place. People were talking about a month in
and RB broken. It is just ridiculous they get away with this robbery. I am not even too mad about my controller but for them to say they have an expected lifespan of less than a year seems like a yearly expenditure to me.

I am in the same boat. I have been an XBL member for over 11 years. Have spent of 1,000 in the past couple months on the xbox one alone. There is no reason Microsoft cannot help me out when they provide me with a faulty controller

 

I feel you. My day one controller is unresponive now. Only button that works is center XBox button
