    moved house last week, internet gets turned on Monday, set my scorpio to offline, and every single game I own tells me I need the internet paly it, even says my disc based backward compatible games are not compatible, bad company 2,full spectrum warrior
    etc. why is this £450 machine a complete turd without internet ?

    I agree with you on this one. You spend a lot of money to own a game, so it should be playable offline. Especially for regions where reliable internet can be a pain in the [Mod Removed-Profanity].

    It's a way for the producers to make sure nobody is illegaly downloading their games, which I think is not really a big issue on Xbox.
