    Xbox iOS App and appearing offline


    I was wondering if appearing online while using the xbox app can be disabled, i have my account on my xbox set to appear offline. However it seem like using the app on my phone makes me come up as appearing online and using the xbox app. Is there anyway
    to change this?

    I have wondered this myself as I do the same but since there is no option to turn it off (not that I have discovered anyway) on my iPad and iPhone, I would have to assume that either:

    - it automatically comes up as online

    or

    - because it is the app and not the console, it doesn't come up as 'online'.

    I believe it to be the latter because the app does not have as much activity happening (messages, game invites, new players adding me) as when I'm online.

    Xbox Music Offline listening.

    You have to have a paid separate membership to Xbox Music and if your phone supports the app then you can download the music to it and listen to it offline. Android and IOS are supported.

    Hmm, when I looked at the update earlier today it gave specific instructions on how to get Smartglass on your iOS (access it through My Xbox app). Now they're saying that its not yet available for iOS. So I guess this is not the Smartglass app yet. Regardless,
    the additions to the My Xbox app still appear to have been added by monkeys.
