Xbox Internet Issues (Stuck Downloads)

Hey,

I'm having an issue where my Xbox is unable to download anything, even though it's connected to WiFi. I'm able to run a speed test via settings and get results, but a wireless or wired connection doesn't seem to fix my issue or get the Xbox to start downloading. I've restarted by Xbox One, disconnected it from WiFi and factory reset it. There's a router next to the Xbox and my internet isn't affecting any of my other home devices.

Sometimes a restart works, but my connection isn't as good compared to other devices when used in similar ranges around my router.

Any possible solutions?

Changing the DNS resolved my issue, really appreciate this since I’ve been having this problem for weeks and was worried my console had a virus or I had to change my ISP.

Did you already tried power cycling your console?
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

If you already tried that, I can advise you another things to try:

1. go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.
(If the issue persists use instead 1.1.1.1 as primary DNS and 1.0.0.1 as secondary)

2. Let's try cleaning your MAC address:

Select Setting > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address
Select Clear, restart your console and give it a new try

I tried downloading it before it appeared on the dashboard, yet the download keeps getting stuck on 16%, is anyone else having this problem? My internet's fine and my xbox hasn't had any issues, it's literally just this download that specifically gets stuck
at 16%

Turn of the internet, I sat here for an hour stuck at 1%, disconnected from xbox live and restarted the download, took less than a minute
