Xbox installer gets stuck at 5%

Are you trying to install it from the Microsoft Store? You can try to install it from this link https://www.xbox.com/apps/xbox-app-for-pc

You may cancel the current installation and restart your device before installing it from the link I provided above.

@F0RD1E Again, this isn't slow download speeds for me...i think you need to re-read my post. I'm stuck in an endless loop of it getting to anywhere between 1% and 5%, then stopping, then showing Install ready, then queued, then repeating over and over again...please
explain to me how that behavior is speed related? Speed related would be it just sitting stuck at 5% and then an hour later bumping to 6%, not resetting it's own status to install ready, then queued, then back at 0%.

Would you mind giving these installation methods a try?

A) Unplug your external storage, and try installing the game again.

B) Install the game digitally:

- Go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features, and enable remote features for your console.

- Cancel the installation.

- Clear your download queue.

- Eject your disc.

- Download the Xbox mobile app and link it to your console.

- On the mobile app, search for Forza Horizon 3

- Tap "Download to console", this will trigger a digital installation for this game.

Once the installation is complete, insert your disc so your console can read its license and allow you to launch the game.
