XBox installer crashes

Hi,

I've downloaded XboxInstaller 1.0.1.26 and tried to launch it on Windows 10 Pro Ver. 22H2

and it got crashed in the middle of the process.

Can you help me understand what's wrong?

I took from the Event Viewer the following details about my crash:

I have no games installed. The Xbox App is crashing. I cannot install anything because of this.

Thank you for your prompt response.

It appears that the Microsoft Store application is corrupted, and it was not resolved despite of the troubleshooting steps you have done in your end.

Here are the additional troubleshooting steps that we can perform:

1. Make sure that Windows is up to date.

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
On Windows 10, select Update & Security.
On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available including optional updates for your device.
Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.
Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

2. Perform a full system scan. This will scan and recover corrupted system files.

In the Windows search bar, search for Command Prompt and Run as administrator.
Copy the command one line at a time below it and paste it at the command prompt:

[table][tr]DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth[/tr][tr][td]DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth[/td][/tr][tr][td]DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth[/td][/tr][tr][td]SFC /scannow[/td][/tr][/table]

How did you get the Xbox Installer? Is it through the Microsoft Store or Microsoft official website?

Xbox app is a built in app for Windows 10/11 devices. You can check the application by typing Xbox app on the search bar beside the start menu. If you cannot find the Xbox application, you can get and download if for free in Microsoft Store and official website from Microsoft or you can download it through the link below:

Click on the Download the app button

Other way to get the app is through the Microsoft Store.

type store in the search bar beside the start menu
the open the app
type Xbox app from the search box inside Microsoft store
click the get the app button to start downloading it.

Hello,

Thank you for your kind help.

I've followed your instructions, but when I've installed the app from the link you've provided, the exact same issue came out.

While trying the 2nd option you've mentioned, to install Microsoft Xbox from the Microsoft store, I saw I'm also experiencing an issue with the store.

The button which is probably required to be used in order to install the app is not available.

And this happens also in any other app that I want to install using the store.

It seems like it blinks slowly, supposedly waiting from something, but nothin really happens even if I wait for minutes.

This doesn't happen with already installed apps.

I've tried to follow:

but non of the explained strategies worked for me, including the one that directs to use powershell.
