xbox insider program (Update 2/3/17 ) something went wrong

If you reset the console you should be given an option to keep your games and apps. But I would suggest you post in the forums below to get help with your issues.

I have the exact same experience. and no help what so ever re the error message. no help on any EA site or forums either.

I have doom 3 disc .

It updated doom 1&2 , then paused doom 3 instalation and said " something went wrong " .

I had already joined the Insider program. But I did download the app again, and tried updating, via windows store. Xbox app did not appear to update, and still getting the same errors.

I did notice a couple of errors in windows store, with message "something went wrong our end, please try again" or something along those lines, I clicked retry on each if them, and they all disappeared.

Had same issue with gaming services last week. Maybe that has not updated correctly?

Was Ivan able to confirm that you have the license for Borderlands 1? If not, you'll want to call back and have them take a look at your licenses for the 3/1/17-3/15/17 date range to see if Borderlands 1 is there.

We can't proceed until they can confirm that you do or do not have the license in that specified date range so keep us posted!
