Xbox Insider Hub denied access "You must be over 18" message

I am unable to access the Xbox Insider Hub app due to an error message being displayed saying "Sorry, you need to be at least 18 to join the Xbox Insider program", where my Microsoft account age is set to 21. I wish to access the App but have been unable
to even though through support I have determined that my account is most likely eligible for the Xbox Insider preview program.

Xbox Insider Hub won't let me in the app, says I'm underage, although am not.

When I try to open Xbox Insider hub, it presents me with this message,"Sorry, you need to be at least 18 to join the Xbox Insider program". My microsoft account is over 18...

I have just purchased sea of thieves and cannot access it's closed beta

Wrong account, now I can't log into Insider Hub

Ok so I downloaded Xbox Insider Hub, but logged into the wrong account. The account that I logged in on was registered as under 18 years old. Now whenever I just launch Xbox Insider Hub I get this message: You must be 18 to join Xbox Insider." And then all I
can do is close the program. How can I change the account? (I've tried reinstalling several times)

Normally, you will receive that error message if the system identified that your account is set as a child account. May I know if you changed your date of birth listed in your account? If so, it's possible that the system is having difficulty with verifying
the correct date of birth that's why you're getting the said error message when trying to use the Xbox Insider Hub app. I recommend that you contact our
Xbox
Support to get assistance with verifying your date of birth and to guide you on how to access the Xbox Insider Hub app.

Okay, I get it. But before I was making the post, I saw someone else's post with the same question (that thread is now locked, unfortunately). It says that the user is over 18 years old yet they cannot access the Xbox Insider Hub because it says that they're "under 18". A reply said that the Xbox Insider Hub checks the age you originally created your account at and not the age you're currently at.

That does not work. He can't access Xbox Insider Hub because he's not 18. It says this when he tries to access it and doesn't allow him in.

When I load the insider hub on my windows 10 and Xbox 1 it says that I am not 18 and so it wont allow me to use it but I am over 18.
