XBOX insider hub app not working

Discus and support XBOX insider hub app not working in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Ive restarted my pc, reinstalled the app, and talked to multiple reps but the app still wont work.     XBOX insider hub app not working


    Ive restarted my pc, reinstalled the app, and talked to multiple reps but the app still wont work.

    When i launch it it comes up as a big green square window that only says "please sign in to use the xbox insider hub"

    So i click the sign in button, and all that happens is a grey box pops up for a second then disappears

    the box has nothing on it, just a solid grey window.

    It stays on the sign in page and worn go past it.

    Some actual help would be really appreciated.

    There are several reasons why XBOX insider hub app won't sign you in, in this case some of the components of the app is corrupted. We will need additional information to isolate this issue. Please provide us additional information by answering the following
    questions below:





    1. Are you using a Windows insider operating system?

    2. Have you tried doing a clean boot after re-installing the app?

    I think i messaged you the replies by mistake instead of commenting here. But what i said was:

    1) im using windows 10 OS

    2) Yes i have more then once

    Also the only thing that troubleshooter seemed to find was that the cache may be corrupt. it said it fixed that issue whe i ran it but it comes up every time

    Method 1:

    Steps on how to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer:

        1. Type Windows Powershell in search box.



        2. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



        3. Copy and paste the following command.

             get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 



    4. Press Enter key.





    After uninstalling the Xbox app, we suggest you to download and install the app again and check.

    Method 2:

    Here are steps on how to clear the cache and reset Microsoft Store on Windows 10:



    1. Close Windows Store app, if it’s running.



    2. In the Start menu search box, type WSReset (Windows Store Reset) to see Wsreset in the search results.



    3. Right-click on WSReset and then click Run as administrator option. Click Yes button when you see the User Account Confirmation box.



    NOTE: If the WSReset utility is not appearing in the search result, you can launch the same from the System32 folder (Windows\System32). To open WSReset tool from System32 folder, please navigate to the drive where Windows 10 is installed (usually “C”),
    open up Windows folder, and open up System32 folder. Here, you can find WSReset.exe file. Right-click on it and then click Run as administrator option.



    4. The Store app should now automatically launch along with the Command Prompt. The Command Prompt window will automatically disappear after a couple of seconds.



    Update us if the issue persists.

    I have tried Method two before, and when i tried method one i now cant reinstall the xbox app. getting error code 0x800706B5.

    It would be great if i could get help more then once every 24 hours.

    Method 1: Run the System File Checker.

    System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

    1. Press Windows + X Keys on the keyboard.

    2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin) to bring up an elevated command prompt.

    Note: Click ‘Yes’ if it prompts for permission.

    3. In the command prompt type in the following command and then press Enter. sfc /scannow





    Note: If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”.
    Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

    Refer: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system file.

    Method 2: Perform a Clean Boot and find out which application/service is causing this issue. A clean boot helps to eliminate software conflicts and to determine what is causing the problem. Perform a clean boot on the computer by following

    1. Press Windows + R keys from the keyboard.

    2. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.

    3. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
