    Xbox Insider Hub App doesn't work at all


    My Xbox Insider App have often shown the error message below when launching the app these days. At first, after I close this window I can launch this app. But this week, the Insider app show this message repeatedly and doesn't work at all.

    I tried power reset, uninstall and re-install the app, change the console region and language, but it won't make any change. How can I fix it?

    Unfortunately, I have just deleted my console information as Preview because I want to switch my console from old to new s console, so I can't access Preview Forum and find related issues.

    This error occurs when I try to report problem with this app, so I can't report detail console information. If any information you need, tell me and I'll check.

  2. Halo MCC insider program Trouble

    hey, I have signed up for the halo mcc insider program last week also at the time I signed up to the Xbox insider hub app,

    I have the email saying I have been accepted into the insider program, but yet I can’t access this on the Xbox insider hub app.

    Please help! Been waiting for a long time to play this

    P.s I have contacted Xbox support and have said my account is all verified and good Xbox Insider Hub App doesn't work at all :)

    The Xbox insider hub app believes i am under 18 no matter what i do even if i leave the family or make a new one it does not work. also after getting this app if i leave the family it makes me a child and asks me for permission every time i try and get in
    but as there is no parent i cannot get in. please can someone help

    Hi there,

    The Insider Program is where you enroll your Xbox to test preview updates before they go live. Since the factory reset did not work, I suggest uninstalling and then re-installing the apps that are not working.

    If that doesn't help and the hard reset and power cycle did not help, then you may need to keep trying a factory reset until the apps begin to work.

    You can report problems through the Xbox Insider Hub App since this seems to have happened after your Xbox updated.

    Hi Mirko,

    If you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps and nothing seems to work, then I recommend reporting this issue through the Xbox Insider Hub app on your Xbox. You can report the issue to the proper teams and even include video or screenshots of the issue.
    I've personally tried the Blu-ray app on three different Xbox's and they are all working fine so I'm not sure what is going on with the app on your system.

    I have tried Method two before, and when i tried method one i now cant reinstall the xbox app. getting error code 0x800706B5.

    It would be great if i could get help more then once every 24 hours.

    Thank you for your response. Let us try to uninstall Xbox app then clear the cache of Microsoft Store, Here are two methods below:

    Method 1:

    Steps on how to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer:

        1. Type Windows Powershell in search box.



        2. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



        3. Copy and paste the following command.

             get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 



    4. Press Enter key.





    After uninstalling the Xbox app, we suggest you to download and install the app again and check.

    Method 2:

    Here are steps on how to clear the cache and reset Microsoft Store on Windows 10:



    1. Close Windows Store app, if it’s running.



    2. In the Start menu search box, type WSReset (Windows Store Reset) to see Wsreset in the search results.



    3. Right-click on WSReset and then click Run as administrator option. Click Yes button when you see the User Account Confirmation box.



    NOTE: If the WSReset utility is not appearing in the search result, you can launch the same from the System32 folder (Windows\System32). To open WSReset tool from System32 folder, please navigate to the drive where Windows 10 is installed (usually “C”),
    open up Windows folder, and open up System32 folder. Here, you can find WSReset.exe file. Right-click on it and then click Run as administrator option.



    4. The Store app should now automatically launch along with the Command Prompt. The Command Prompt window will automatically disappear after a couple of seconds.

    Method 1: Run the System File Checker.

    System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

    1. Press Windows + X Keys on the keyboard.

    2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin) to bring up an elevated command prompt.

    Note: Click ‘Yes’ if it prompts for permission.

    3. In the command prompt type in the following command and then press Enter. sfc /scannow





    Note: If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”.
    Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

    Refer: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system file.

    Method 2: Perform a Clean Boot and find out which application/service is causing this issue. A clean boot helps to eliminate software conflicts and to determine what is causing the problem. Perform a clean boot on the computer by following

    Method 3:I Disable proxy.

    1. Press Windows + R keys from the keyboard.

    2. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.

    3. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.

    4. Uncheck the mark "Use a proxy server for your LAN" check box.
