Xbox Insider Blu Ray Player Update for Dolby Atoms

Hello I'm a Xbox Insider Member and I want to download the new Blu Ray Player Update to test an review the new Dolby Atmos Support.

I have a Xbox One S and many 4K Ultra HD Blu Rays with Dolby Atmos Sound and a 7.1.4 AVR and want to help you to make this Update perfect.

Can You unlock the Download rights to my Account ?

HDR10 is supported on Xbox One X Blu Ray player.. what about Dolby Vision ?

Will there be a firmware update that will allow Dolby Vision Blu Ray discs to play on the Xbox One X? I don’t really want to buy a separate Blu Ray player for Dolby Vision unless I have to.

DOLBY ATMOS UPDATE not available through Insider Hub app

I have an Xbox one S and have the insider hub app and when I click insider content it takes me to insider program but there is no option for downloading any app update that would allow me to get Dolby Atmos decoding. This was one of the main reasons I bought
an S was to play 4K blu ray and have Dolby Atmos

We do not have the ability to grant or unlock any download rights for your account. You should be able to update the appropriate software for your Xbox One that's available to you.

Yes, please bring Dolby Vision support to the Xbox 4k Blu-ray player! I have a vast collection of 4k Blu-Rays and a tv that supports Dolby Vision (LG C9).

I have an LG oled c7 and watch netflix trough webOs .

By doing it this way you should get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Microsoft will roll out an sofware update for netflix Dolby Vision shortly.

For the moment Dolby Vision is not supported on the Netflix app via Xbox.

I hope they also update the blu ray player shortly because there is much more content available on 4k uhd blu ray.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me if support for 4K HDR Dolby Vision for the Blu Ray player is a recent firmware update? The reason I ask is that all the info and reviews I have read say that the Blu Ray player only supports 4K UHD and not 4K
HDR Dolby Vision. Thanks again.
