    I am 110% new to gaming. I have never really played much and have been exposed to computers and games since the dawn of the home computer. I do not now, nor have I ever owned a game console. I have bought many for my children as they grew up, but I never got into it. I am now curious about gaming, racing games and SIM racing are particularly what I am interested in. I bought a gaming laptop that is above system requirements for Iracing and a wheel and pedal set for Iracing. My laptop has windows 10 on it and in the windows 10, xbox.

    My question is this: Do I need to have an xbox console in order to play xbox games? Project Cars2 in particular is one of many that I am interested in as I want to practice SIM driving and this game is compatible with the wheel and pedal set, I have.

    I have looked around on the internet for the answer to this, but all answers seem to dance around the real question. I hope that someone can give me the "straight" answer and maybe point me in a correct direction to help my experience in gaming, so I do not become overly frustrated and give up.

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.

    How do you mean receive Xbox on windows 10 ?

    Xbox is free on windows 10 with the Xbox App where you can stream your xbox to your windows 10 device and see you stats, achievements, friends and many other things

    Other ways of using xbox on your windows 10 device is buy playing xbox anywhere games or xbox enabled games from the windows 10 store
