Xbox in Update Loop and resetting to factory defaults

I am in the preview program, but chat cant let me access those forums so here goes.. Im on the latest dash update and the most recent thing is that there is 1 of 2 updates available:

1 at 480 mb or another at 3.6gb

Both of these result in xbox being reset to factory, and after reset, the same updates are still available. Stuck in the loop here. Having to add accounts to my xbox every time it updates. Help!

System Settings - Storage - Hard Drive. Hit the Y Button and choose Format. It will ask you for the Xbox Serial Number. Enter the Serial Number and then confirm the action. **Make sure you transfer any content you want to keep!!** Your Serial Number
can be found under System Settings - Console Settings - System Info

Rule out the connections first, try a different lead

different tv

different power socket

remove any third party devices connected

reboot the x1

Maybe a factory reset ?? if all fails
Reset To Factory Default Settings | Xbox One - Xbox.com

 

I am having the same issue but only the 3.6gb update causes the factory reset. The smaller update the 480mb one updates fine. I have turned off auto updated until a solution is found.

 

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm somewhat happy to know that I'm not the only one having this issue.

 

my console is now no longer telling me it needs to update so I would assume the issue has been fixed.
