when i try to sign in into a game or any xbox app it shows that we couldn't sign you in to xbox live .But when i use a vpn it works just fine .all my friends are facing the same problem.we can just use vpn but it is hard when signing in to a game like Minecraft W10 edition .I live in syria so can you find a solution to this problem .Pleas try your best to remake it available cause we're paying for games and xbox game pass and we want to have fun.all the apps works fine without vpn the problem is only for the sign in.------------------------------------------My PC info:OS: WIN10 Pro V 1909OS Build: 18363.1256-----------------------------------------My country : Syria (Middle East)-----------------------------------------

Try installing Xbox Identity Provider - Microsoft Store , then restart your
system and try signing in Xbox (Beta) App.

Interesting - I installed this but I can't find it on my system, but I also found that I can't sign in on the Microsoft Store app either. It seems this problem goes deeper than I had noticed!

It's the Xbox (Beta) App on my PC. No error code shows up unfortunately. The app straight up refuses to take me to the sign on screen.

I'll try that Xbox identity provider app for sure!

Here are some answers to your questions:

I am hard wired into my home network without a VPN.

My account is a local admin and no, there are no other installed accounts; mine is the only one.

Yes, i can sign into xbox.com no problem online, plus that same account is what i use on my Xbox One S without an issue.

When i go to check on Gaming Services, i get an error "Something happened on our end" however it does show as installed in Settings/Apps

That Xbox identity provider link does nothing when clicked on it

The Xbox Live In-game experience doesn't show anything in the Microsoft store app for me, doesn't give an option to install nor that it is installed.

The Xbox console companion is installed and works fine for me.

In services, I do see Gaming Services as stopped, but when i go to start it, it switches back to Stopped immediately.

I'm sorry to hear that you cannot sign into the Xbox app. Let's try re-installing the Xbox app with the Xbox Identity provider app downloaded. Follow these steps:

1. Remove the Xbox app per the PowerShell instructions. Run it as admin:

Windows Key + X > Windows PowerShell > Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

2. Then, install the Xbox Identity Provider first:
