Xbox identity provider and a Plague Tale: Innoncence

I currently have a problem when I try to play the game A plague Tale Innocence. I should be abble to play it since I subscribed to the xbox game pass (it's currently active and I can play other games that need it).

With this particular game it seems there is an issue with the signing in to my live account. When I click on the "play" button to sign me in the page just tells me there was a problem with the attempt connecting to my live account and I should try to connect
later. Since the problem is still occuring since yesterday and I can play other microsoft games where I also need to connect to my live account I don't think waiting will solve this.

So I digged a bit and tried to open my task manager while on the failed attempt to connect page. It appears that a task called "xbox identity provider" fails to launch properly. If I expand the task two other ones seems to run but one of them is interrupted
for whatever reason. If I try to toggle it a new page very similar to the first one appears showing only the xbox logo and the quote "please wait" and nothing happens...

My guess is for some reason this app is blocked but I can't figure why or by what. Considering this app seems to be the link between my live account and the game I think it needs to run properly. I tried everything related to updates and reinstalling stuff
(both xbox apps and the game itself) but nothing changes.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this ?
