    Xbox Home Switches


    I've just bought my son a new XBox Series X, which we want to set as the new Home device. However, it says we have already done our five switches for the year (and everyone in the house seems pretty sure we haven't).

    Other threads mention about being able to maybe get an exception, but the Help topics all get a bit circular and don't get you anywhere near discussing with a real person. Other threads also mention a survey, but this is not available to us either.

    Anyone got any suggestions ?

    Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select Help when
    you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If he doesn't see the survey, he'll have to wait until his limit resets on its own.
    I know but the reset date has already passed so he should be able to gameshare

    Why didn't the password on the account get changed instead of this fighting over the account thing. You get 5 switches for the home console per year and then you have to wait for the first switch to timeout at the 365 day mark.

    We are unable to provide more switches for the home console setting on an Xbox One console.
