Stuck on black screen

When ever I turn on my Xbox it brings me to a black screen and it just sits there and when I push the home button it says something went wrong with the error code 0x80070490. Is there any way I can fix this black screen so I can actually use my xbox?

Xbox one, Turns on and act like its working fine but on the tv, its just a black screen

I'm having the same issue. It shows the green startup screen for a long time and then a black screen with an error code and once I click continue it just goes back to the black screen. Apparently home took too long so start. I've tried a hard reset and nothing
seems to have changed. Has anybody with the same issue found a solution? Please update.

Does that error code pop up every time you turn on your console or only sometimes? And have you done any troubleshooting yet? If so, what steps have you taken?

In the meantime, I recommend you try a
factory reset of your console. You can choose the option that allows you to keep your games and apps.

Give that a go and let us know how it goes.

No message, no error, nothing. After language selection, black screen and then home screen.

Same issue here. I will sometimes get past the black screen but all i get is an error saying Home took to long to load and the option to close and go back to the black screen. . .
