xbox support is the only people that can reset the Home xbox counter if the account is eligible for a reset if support told you they can not reset it then you will have to wait the year to change your home console.

Have you made your xbox home to multiple other xboxs? You only have a certain ammount of xbox home changes but they reset every year

Hi, Home Xbox allows 5 changes per rolling 12 months. Once you have used all 5 changes, a date will be displayed showing when the next change is available. Nobody here can reset Home Xbox and it is no longer designed to have a reset.

You will need to wait for the date you first used the feature to roll around

In addition to what XBF Leonzo G said just keep in mind that support is under no obligation to reset your home xbox counter.

You can change your home Xbox up to 5 times per rolling year (which should be way more than enough as long as you arent sharing your home xbox with the whole neighborhood to share games which is not what the feature is meant for).

If support denies your request to reset the home Xbox counter then you will have to wait 1 rolling year since the first time you changed your home Xbox before you will be able to change it again.
