Xbox home advice

Hello,

Just got a digital copy of Valhalla. I have 2 xboxs, one for my bedroom (A) and one for the living room (B). Xbox (A) is my home xbox, but
I currently play on (B) more frequently. I entered the code for the Valhalla gold edition successfully. Started the game download for my home Xbox. Then went to start the download for (B). (B) does not let me install the DLC from my dashboard. Odyssey also
gave me the same problem. I am able to play on the home Xbox just fine, but none of the bonuses/dlc transfer to the other one. Any advice or help? I've always had this way setup for my Xbox. Its worked on every other game I've had but it seems like AC is the
only game that has given me issues. Destiny 2 for example, my wife was able to play on (A) with all the DLC while I was playing with her on (B) and all the DLC for myself. I talked to a Microsoft rep and they recommended to switch the home Xbox, but if I would
have the same problem but in reverse correct? They said the DLC/season pass only works on the home Xbox and no other ones even if you're logged into it. Only reason I would like to keep the home Xbox the way they are is because I share my live with my wife
on (A). She seldomly plays but I don't want to have to have 2 concurrent live subscriptions if she wants to play. Any advice is helpful. If the Microsoft tech that I talked to sees they're probably going to pull their hair out. Sorry.
