Xbox hijacked my hard drive

I suggest disk genius it allows you to do a targeted recovery I also had another one that was expensive that the police use 2000 bucks btw but it's not targeted and takes 8-10houes to scan and then you can target recover

He formatted the drive for Xbox, which likely has deleted all the data on the drive. You can attempt to use data recovery tools in it, or take it to a data recovery company (expensive). It likely was a fast format that flags everything in the drive as able to be overwritten, but likely most of it could still be there for recovery tools, assuming they could get past the Xbox formatting.

That is similar to what my xbox is doing. You know from my other posts that I have sat internet issues but I believe that my optical drive or something in the video processor might be going out. I understand not being able to access content with my sat
internet, but why would that stop me from playing videos that I have downloaded onto the hard drive. Not trying to hijack your post just thought I would throw that out there.

Yup. Did that, but, as I stated, too late. Been using my data as niggardly as possible.

As far as downloading the games I had, (until it hijacked itself puking ~210GB off of my hard drive), back onto my hard drive, budgeting doesn't matter, if I can't download a game without an interruption. Nothing to play, nothing to budget.

It's sick that it invents the interruptions, just to complain about the speed. The data was passing ... slowly. I want to be able to turn off the re-verification process of what it already downloaded before continuing, so I can download the games a chunk
at a time, OR, get it to continue the low speed download without interrupting itself for no other reason than the slow speed, OR have them send me disks with the games it puked off my hard drive just for cancelling the updates. I'm completely hijacked until
one of those three things can happen. (Or, of course, if someone buys me free unlimited Internet. That's not in my crystal ball right now.)

Sorry to thread hijack...but should I make a comment about Call of Duty being an 18+ game? Hmmm....anyway...i suppose it would depend if your friend redownload any DLC associated to their account on to your hard drive....could be against the TOU there
