Xbox Headset powers on paired Xbox console

Is it possible to add an option to disable the feature that powers on your console when you power on the Xbox wireless headset. I would like to pair it to my PC without it powering on my console.

how to connect headphone to xbox one

    Hello,

    Im ,

Please Follow These Steps : The Xbox Wireless Headset pairs with an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console in the same manner as an Xbox Wireless Controller:

    1. Be sure that both the headset and console are powered on.
    2. Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds. You will hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
    3. Press the Pair button  on your console (the same button you use to pair a wireless controller with your console). The power light on the console will start flashing.
    4. When the headset and console connect with each other, the power lights on both devices will stop flashing.
To connect an Xbox Wireless Headset to a Win10, Android, or iOS device using Bluetooth:

    1. Be sure that the headset is powered on.
    2. Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds. You will hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
    3. Go to the Bluetooth connections menu on your device and scan for available devices. The headset should appear as Xbox Wireless Headset in the available devices list.
    4. When the headset connects with your device, the power light will stop flashing.

How do I fix a headset that is not charging

    Ok, no worries Scott.

Just to be sure. The headset is not turning on at all?

If it is turned on but not able to be paired with your console:

First be sure that both devices are in pairing mode (hold down the pair buttons for 2 seconds; the power lights will flash when the devices are in pairing mode).

If that doesn’t work, try restarting both the console and the headset, then try pairing them again.

To restart your headset: Use the green power button on the back of the headset’s left earcup to turn the headset off. You should hear a power-down sound, and the power light (just above the power button) will turn off. Wait a few seconds and then press the power button again to restart the headset.

    Wireless headset

    HI.

Have you tried resetting your headset and then pairing them again?

To power off and reset headset (hard reset)

    - pressure and hold the mute button for 15 seconds

    - you may hear a sound and the headset should turn off

    - then connect the transmitters USB power cable

    - power up the headset

Then attempt to pair the headset again

I believe because it's currently paired to the phone it has to be reset to pair to the console

    Hope this helps :)

Stopping the xbox from turning on with headset

It works when doing it like that, I dont need a tutorial on how to pair, I want to know if there is a way to disable the console turning on when I turn on the headset. No matter if the console is off, since the headset uses a multifunction button for pairing
and power, it turns the xbox on and I dont want that to happen
