    Xbox Headset Pairing


    My Xbox Wireless Headset stopped working while playing on my Series X. I thought it might be out of batteries so I connected it to an xbox usb port. After charging, it still will not connect. I tried pairing and it will not pair, the pairing sound plays but it sounds like as soon as it pairs I get the startup sound from the headset. I tried clearing the pairing data and a hard reset with the same effect. I tried pairing it to a windows PC and it did the pairing processes, but the headset powered down and when I powered it back up, I had to instruct the PC to reconnect and it worked for about a second before it quit producing sound and acted as if it was off. Starting it back up did not let me get back to pairing as holding the green button just had it repeatedly playing the startup sound over and over. This is very frustrating since the headset is 10 days out of the ridiculously short 90 day warranty. Any ideas how to fix this before I scrap the headset? Is there a possibility to have it repaired? Should I just give up and buy a third party one?

    How to connect galaxy buds to the xbox app?

    Put the headset into pairing mode.
    For an Xbox Wireless Headset, press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds. You will hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.

    Galaxy buds don't have that option

    Headset is turtle beach stealth 700. Push pairing button on xbox, and on headset, both lights flash until the console gives up. Light on headset continuously flashes.

    I managed to pair the headset to my phone, so I know that works.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Are you asking about the Microsoft wireless headset?Do other headsets pair just fine with PS5? Does the headset pair with other devices properly?

    HI.

    Have you tried resetting your headset and then pairing them again?

    To power off and reset headset (hard reset)

    - pressure and hold the mute button for 15 seconds

    - you may hear a sound and the headset should turn off

    - then connect the transmitters USB power cable

    - power up the headset

    Then attempt to pair the headset again

    I believe because it's currently paired to the phone it has to be reset to pair to the console
