Xbox Headset- Others can't hear me

    Xbox Headset- Others can't hear me


    This issue just started today when it was fine yesterday. The headset is the one that comes with the Xbox on purchase, as well the original controller.

    I have no idea what the cause could be, but I am currently in the preview program if that matters. The issue is that my headset is recognized by my xbox and I can hear others, but they cannot hear me. I have tried every solution I could find and am close
    to giving up.

    Unable to talk through headset, able to hear others but they can't hear me. Went to settings screen ,under devices, unable to click on volume setting-it's grayed out. Help! Bought a new headset with no resolution

    I am having the same problem! by the looks of it a few people are having the same problem, i have tried every solution too, and now it is just getting annoying, currently in a party on my own screaming 'WOOOOOOOOOORKK' haha, still nothing has changed maybe
    we have to wait for them to patch it?

    Hey there PanthersFanDay1!

    I am truly sorry to hear about the Party Chat issues and I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. Are you able to hear sound in other apps? If you haven't already, I recommend trying to see if you can hear sound in an app like Skype.

    Sorry, forgot to mention...

    I can hear others through my tv when the headset adapter is not plugged in to my controller.

    Both headsets I have tried are made my Microsoft for the xbox one. One is the standard headset that comes with the system, and the other is the plugged in through the adapter. Where I have also tried plugging in another headset through it.

    Nothing has worked.
