    Xbox Headset Keeps Turning Off When Connected to PC


    So I’ve been using the Xbox series X wireless headset with Bluetooth which allows you to be connected to your Xbox and PC at the same time or your Xbox and mobile device at the same time. However, if I have it connected only to my PC, it turns off after 10 minutes every time. This only happens when it isn’t connected to the Xbox. Is there a way to keep it from constantly turning off every 10 minutes? It is very annoying when you’re gaming on PC.

    Did anybody try the reset? My concern is that even IF it did work, after I connected and used the headset with the xbox one again, then you'd have to do a reset again, everytime you wanted to use the headset on your pc.

    Perhaps turning off the "auto turn on" mentioned above will be the way to go:

    Xbox one has a "Auto Turn On" when any wireless device are turn on

    I just can't believe xbox one does not have a setting to "forget" the connect of a blu tooth device that has been paired.

    If it were a built-in headphone jack, then it would turn off when the controller itself was turned off, right? It connects when I plug in my headset.

    UPDATE: I popped off part of the back and noticed it is turning on now but when I try and connect my headset it completely shuts off and won't turn back on until I remove the headset.

    As I don't have one, i can only guess. Does the headset have a sync button you can use to sync to the PC or failing that, turn off the console at the power outlet, then try connecting the headset to the PC again.
