Xbox Headset cant be updated on pc so is cutting in and out

I've googled how to update the device which told me to download the microsoft accessory app to update through that. My headphones are connected to the PC and can be used but are cutting in and out, this is the first time I have used them on pc, I have used them on console before and had the same problem but I updated them and it was fix, I'm assuming this is the same issue. However nothing comes up through the Microsoft Accessory app and I cant even look for devices. How do I update Xbox Gaming Headphones on PC then?

Sure thing. I appreciate it. It would also be best to try a different cable to isolate the issue.

Yes, I used the usb to type-c cable, I also tried putting into the different usb connections. I have checked for window update, restarted my pc, disconnected the headphones and reconnected multiple times.

Still nothing changes in to accessories app

Because of the app design I cannot search for devices or do anything in app to see if there is any possible accessories to connect too, I have completely run out of things to try other than reinstalling the app which I don't thing will solve this problem I am having.

I first connected with just Bluetooth and then I plugged it in when nothing came up but nothing changed or came up

I really appreciate your efforts, Frances. Did you already try to use a different USB cable?

Well, we could also try to reinstall your Xbox Accessories app. Be sure to restart your PC before installing the app back.

I have tried different usb connections but haven't changed the cable as its the same one has I charge the headphones with and haven't had and issue with that. I'll try reinstalling the app next, to see if that does help anything. Thanks for your help
