    Xbox Headset Broken


    I bought an Xbox wireless headset for my son for his birthday on 25th November last year.

    As seems to be typical for these products, the microphone has fallen apart. Additionally it has developed a fault with a solid light showing and the device unable to sync, reset or turn off.

    Apparantly my warranty expired today, which is frustrating seeing as we didn't not receive the order until 21st November 2022.

    Can we see how this device can be serviced?

    Mic Not Working

    Bought a third headset, ran straight through 3.5 Jack and we're back online. Guess just bad luck I purchased a broken headset trying to fix a broken one.

    Answer: Can't Connect To Party Chat (Xbox One)

    Wrong. The kinect turns off for chat when a headset is detected. This is proved by the fact that it will switch to Kinect chat when the headset is removed or the controller dies.

    Xbox Party Chat is broken.

    You sure it isn't your headset? That happened to me a few times and it was my headset that was broken.

    I cannot be heard in Xbox live party chat, but I can hear others and gameplay, adapter seems to be in working order.

    Sounds to me like the headset is broken but u can always try to hard reset the xbox that may help

    I have come back to say that I returned the New headset and asked for another in the shop, as i explained what was happening to them.

    They said we highly doubt its an XBOX problem , more due to the fact that the headsets are disposable (His words..)

    They tried to sell me an expensive headset, but I said whats the point if its not going to work..

    Long and short---NEW HEADSET TODAY WORKS. :) Old headset broken , and got unlucky with a broken one in-between..

    Hope everyone gets the help they need..
