Xbox Headset and controller

Discus and support Xbox Headset and controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So recently my headset would just randomly stop working, but it was no big deal I would simply just unplug the headset and plug it back in again.     Xbox Headset and controller


    So recently my headset would just randomly stop working, but it was no big deal I would simply just unplug the headset and plug it back in again. But now it just completely stoped working. I pluged it into my phone and it worked just fine so im wondering
    if it had something to do with my controller and if I should buy a new one. Or if this can easly be fixed.

    I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting articles:




    If the problem persists:

    • Try your Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working.
    • Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues.
    • Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
      updating the first controlleragain.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    Xbox headset not playing game or party audio but I can still hear myself when I monitor my mic.

    Sounds like a headset or a xbox controller problem ... do u have another controller to try the headset in to see if its the controller that is the problem? Or do u have another headset to plug into the controller to see if the other headset is the problem?

    like the controller 3.5mm jack is not reading the headset. Have you tried another controller or headset?
