    Ok , so basically my coward cousin dropped my XBox One S Console on the floor by accident , so it turns on fine and it stays on and all that , but the HDMI to tv isnt working , like i put the HDMI cord in and it comes out easily its not the cord because
    ive tried 5 different ones , i even put it in the HDMI from cable and it stayed put , i need help ASAP

    Xbox 360 and HDMI

    How are you displaying your Xbox 360 - with or without an HDMI cable? We just bought a new TV today (yay! lol) and since it's HDMI capable, we bought an HDMI cable and hooked the Xbox 360 up with it. Man, does it make a WORLD of difference!

    Dude your freaking Xbox One had a HDMI IN, you can plug your SNES Classic into back of your Xbox One, and play it through the Xbox. It is basically built for people like you with limited HDMI ports.

    You may want to see if your console is under warranty and can be repaired. You can find out
    here. However, note that sometimes that type of problem isn't covered by the warranty. Hopefully it is, though.

    I did some of my own investigating.

    For those with with Home Theatres with HDMI

    Cable Box HDMI Out to Xbox One HDMI In

    Xbox One HDMI Out to Home Theatre HDMI In

    Home Theatre HDMI Out to HDTV In

    .

    If using optical audio for sound, connect the toslink from the Xbox One to the HT.

    No,as long as the HDMI port on the back of your cable box is "HDMI Out", you will be fine. You get a HDMI cord to go from cable box to xbox HDMI IN port , and a HDMI cord to go from xbox HDMI Out Port to tv.

    Removing the Xbox One eliminates the issue, and swapping HDMI cables into and out of the Xbox One does nothing. Signal loss is basically permanent now.

    HDMI cable from Xbox One to receiver is the one provided with Xbox One, all other HDMI are insignia highspeed HDMI.

    The Xbox Series X will come with a HDMI 2.1 cable,

    But whether you use a HDMI 2.1 cable or not, the HDMI port on the TV needs to be HDMI 2.1 to achieve the 120hz refresh rates at 4K.

    using a HDMI 2.1 cable on a TV port with HDMI 2.0 will still only limit the Xbox Series X to 60hz refresh rates.

    The Xbox One X is the only console that has HDMI 2.1. Xbox One S has HDMI 2.0.
    The Xbox One S and One X both use HDMI 2.0,

    The Xbox One uses HDMI 1.4

    The Series X will have HDMI 2.1.
