Xbox HDMI not working

The white Xbox (Brother)

Works on my TV with HDMI

Works on my monitor with HDMI

The elite Xbox (Mine)

Works on my TV with HDMI

Doesn't work on my monitor through HDMI unless its on 480p and then I get red and blue lines but can see the image on the screen.

All others that say working are at 1080p, and are all using the same HDMI cable.

I stated that I used other HDMI Cables and another Tv. My xbox worked on the second tv with the same cable, and my laptop worked with the same HDMI cable on my Tv in the same HDMI Port. The Xbox, Tv, and HDMI cable work fine, they just won't work together
right now for some reason.

Thanks Hydro Skillet. I did try your suggestion with no luck. I took the PC completely out of the equation (since I now have Xbox Live Gold for NetFlix). If I try one device at a time, they all work. When the second device is plugged in, whatever
device was initially plugged in and working, will still work on both HDMI settings. (Ex. Xbox plugged in to HDMI 2 or 4 (working), plug Cable into HDMI 4 or 2 - Xbox displays on both HDMI 2 and 4). Cable plugged in to HDMI 2 or 4 (working), plug Xbox
into HDMI 4 or 2 - Cable displays on both HDMI 2 and 4?

I tried running the HDMI from the xbox to my dvr then another HDMI from the xbox to the tv. That did not work. Then I tried running an HDMI from the xbox to the TV. And then an optical from the xbox to the receiver and that did not work. I have only one
out on the reciever for HDMI and that runs to the tv. I have like five ports for HDMI'S in the receiver.

I'm not sure about holding X and the right trigger, it used to be Y and the right trigger unless they changed things in the recent update or the instructions on the website are incorrect.
