Xbox hdd question

Discus and support Xbox hdd question in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Have a 250gb hdd and bought a 320gb the other day. Wanted to use is it as a back up. What is the best way to do this?     Have a 250gb hdd and bought a 320gb the other day. Wanted to use is it as a back up. What is the best way to do this? Also some game saves dont move over. Anyway around that?

    I don't know if it will work from hard drive to hard drive but there is an option to copy files to another save device.

    If you use the transfer cable, it'll pass everything - choice disallowed. If there's specific things you want to transfer, BigB's solution will work for you.

    If i transfered everything to the 320gb, then re download my games on the 250gb will there be an issue with that? Shouldnt be a liscense issue and then i have 2 hdd

    Every game save is transferable...... ALL content is transfered... It will be an issue...

    The license is only for 1 copy of the game.

    Use cloud storage as a back up for save files or copy to USB memory IMO.

    @Big Toe AFAIK, the DRM allows you to play the game if 1) you're signed on XBL or 2) you're playing on the Xbox that bought it. The hard drive that hosts the content doesn't really matter as long as its on the Xbox that bought it.
