Xbox has probably packed up

I have the original xbox which I've had for 5 years and a bit. It's always worked perfectly with no problems up until tonight. I turn it on, lights come on but I keep hearing a faint rhythmic beeping sound and after about 20 to 30 seconds, the xbox turns
off. Nothing comes up on the screen either. Is this the so called ring of death or something?

have you checked the hdmi connection? If it doesn't detect an output it will shut off.

Yes I have. Might I add the beeping sound is coming from inside the console. My controller won't turn it on unless it's plugged in via usb cable. I've done all the necessary troubleshooting eg power cycling, resetting, repeated pressing the eject button
etc but still the same thing.

you are probably mixing this up with assassins creed with has a triple pack for ps3 only coming as well.

Currently there are no Jurassic themed texture/mesh-up packs for the xbox one edition. Your son was probably refering to Jurassic Craft, which is a mod pack that is only available for the PC version of Minecraft.

Under the REQ packs there's no Teishin Armor. I'm sure I got an xbox live message with the code.

I'll probably have to put up with it, for me there is no teishin armor. :-(
