Xbox has gone Apple

so I'm kinda angry right now about this whole storage problem on the new Xbox one n 1s.

Why the heck are we forced to download every game? I'm pretty sure there is a reason but no reason is good enough. Why not offer free cloud space? Idk like Google. Instead of taking a page straight from Apple's. I mean this is rediculous and you expect us
to pay so much for this useless hardware. I mean there are other ways of doing things and you guys at Microsoft know this.

I have been a huge fan of Microsoft since day one. The first gen is better than this. The 360 is better than this. Than you digress? I'm so angry right now because I loathe apple for their purposefully no storage waist of money phone's and now you guys do
it too?

Needless to say I probably won't by the next gen bc you guys very well know you did this purposefully, screw the customer right?

The only console currently being made that doesn't require games to be installed or downloaded is the Nintendo Switch, that's it.

Perhaps gaming isn't for you, maybe take up knitting, it has no downloads or installs at all.

 

Yes, Microsoft BC is not fully realizing that not everybody is on 100 Mbps flatrate internet.

From what I heard/read on Eurogamer Scorpio is to be able to play and install from an X1 disc - if that is true it's brilliant.

They could have made the same on X1, and just small patches to DL for 360 BC at least.

I made a test, having some gigs left over one month and downloaded Dirt 3, but uninstalled after an hour.

X1 is not strong enough to emulate 360, I felt there were slight delay even moving in menu system in game.

So didn't bother running the game much.

I kind of appreciate the effort though.

Right now I feel more like buying another 360 to have as spare, for about 50 games that I have for future use - rather than rely on BC on a selection of games.

I really like the 360 unit.

 

You're not forced to download every game. You're forced to install every game to your hard drive, because otherwise games would take significantly longer to load from the disc and then you'd be here complaining that MS doesn't let you install games so they
run faster. If you don't want to have to install games then get a Switch or a previous gen console.

What does that have to do with anything? Why do so many people here have such a hard time believing/comprehending that sometimes people register here with a different email address than they used on the console?
