Backward compabatility is an old legend,this is the 8th generation, live with it.....And keep your old consoles if you want to play old games,or wait for HD remakes....

Xbox One is a Harsh change over from Xbox 360. No one likes starting from nothing. Leaving things as they are. Its a clean slate with no reason to stay with Xbox unless people like its base new features more then PS4. To be blunt the PS4 out preforms Xbox
One hands down. So it comes down to features were Xbox has the upper hand. Problem Xbox 360 had most of the features already leaving people with little motivation to get Xbox One for small upgrades to things they already have but at the same time not getting
to keep any of the investment already made. As scale is set now. people may as well keep there Xbox 360 for the features and get the PS4 for the better gaming system.

The Xbox One and PS4 can't handle BC because they are x86 not IBM/Cell, and Xbox One is "outperformed"? First, learn to spell, and secondly:

In all seriousness though, I understand what you're saying. But, it's just as simply to keep your 360 around if you want to play it, while investing in an XBOX One or PS4. As for no reason to stay with XBOX, I think the main reason myself and others stay
with it is XBOX Live, which does carry over. Being able to play with the friends I've made online over the years is reason enough for me to stick with XBOX.

If your sole concern is playing games from 2007, than your option is keep your 360 around. I kept mine to play games that my kids enjoy on the 360, and the only difference between having 1 console with everything or two separate is 1 foot of space in my
entertainment center and a different HDMI setting on the audio receiver.

The point is being lost. 120G is a lot of games. point is you could have the ability to play any game you have already payed for on your 360 on your new one. So you have 8 new Xbox one games. you would also have the ability to upload a Lego batman when your
brother brings his kids over. You wont have to pay for it because you already had it on your 360. These are older games no reason to have them all on your Xbox at the same time. All your new games you will still have the disks for. or you could have the ability
to download them seeing you already own the license if the disk gets messed up. All around this give value to the Xbox. all of these things would make Xbox a stronger buy then PS4. My wife isn't going to get in to play halo or assassins creed by just playing
the new game.

Want to make it worth the money? Make the Kinect optional and then drop the base price to $349. At least then it would be competitive with the PS4 even though it has weak hardware in comparison.

I don't want to pay for the Xbox One and only have 1 game to play when i get it. I have already invested so much in my 360 for me and my kids. That's just money in the trash. When you get a new computer do always start with nothing on it and only get new
things for it. No, you save all the things of value and move it to the new one. Dose that make the new one more expensive? No. It gives it usefulness as soon as you get it and it can still do all the fun cool new things. This also gives you time to grow out
of the old in to the new.
