Is it true about the power block

If history is any guide, I'm more worried about Xbox and it's actual hardware problems than Playstation and it's imagined hardware problems.

    Hardware problem with wireless internet

It's at all possible that the wireless card in your system has shorted out or something and needs to be replaced. The system is under warranty and you should be able to swap it out.

You can check it out online at myservice.xbox.com, you should go there at least to sign in and make sure your registered, and set up a Standard Exchange where they email you a shipping label and you box it up yourself and send it in and they either repair
it and send it back or ship you a new one.

They do have an option called the Advanced Exchange as well where they send you a new one first and you use the box it came in and the return shipping label that comes with it to swap it out and send the old one back, but that has a small fee associated
with it ($15) and you have to put a pre authorization on a credit card or debit card for the cost of a new console that they hold until they get the old unit back. It's a pricy option, but it's awesome because you get it a lot faster and swapping it out is
a lot easier. If you can swing it then it's the way to go, but you will also have to call in and talk to a rep to set it up. You can't set up an Advanced Exchange on the website.

    Hope this helps.

    Hardware problem with wireless internet

bigbenx88 How much do I have to pay in total? I had this problem with the Sunset Overdrive edition a month after release date when I got it and sent it in regularly but they just sent back the exact same one and called it an Xbox 360. They said my Xbox 360
is fine and that's when I gave up all hope on Microsoft and getting my console fixed. I still have it and still can't connect to wifi.

    Internet/Hardware

    Hey there David Fall,

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on what to do in this situation. I can totally understand how this could be pretty distressing. I suggest trying a

    soft factory reset
if you haven't already. It's the one denoted reset and keep my games & apps and is a great troubleshooting step for a variety issues.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know if that helped.

    Thanks for reading!
